Google Pixel 6 leak shows the beginning of something special

We won't see the Pixel 6 until this fall but we did get quite the preview by way of a leak from the infamous Jon Prosser. There is a lot here so I will break it down just a bit. Let's start with what we don't know. Well, we don't know if the cameras are upgraded to a newer sensor but my best guess is that they are. Then there's the processor situation. Again, we can presume Google is using their own in-house base chip based on leaks but we don't know for sure.

Now with what we don't know out of the way we can touch on what the renders are showing us. First thing is that we will have an XL version or in this case a Pro version based on a report in the same leak. To be honest, I’m a fan of the regular variant and a XL variant based on just size. However, in this report, we can expect some key differences not just based on size alone. The other difference could be an additional camera that's expected to be a telephoto lens. I'm a fan of small phones but having an additional camera may tip me over to the Pro variant.

On the front, we can see a couple of things as well. First, the hole punch is moving to the center. Probably where it should be. Then there’s the area where the fingerprint resides. Nothing new but I like how Google is moving with current trends and giving us a more modern-looking phone. Looks like the fingerprint reader on the back will be for the A-line moving forward.

The design itself is very unique and I must say that I'm digging it. I mean like a lot. It seems like Google is moving away from the subtle and minimal designs to something a little more flashy and futuristic looking. The colors in the renders aren’t expected to be what's shipping but hopefully, there is a version out there with that orange or coral color-way on the back.

If the leak is real and the renders are truly what we are to expect this fall I couldn't be more excited. And don't forget about the Pixel Watch. We could be witnessing a synergy of an ecosystem on Android at the right time and Google is the perfect company to deliver on both hardware and software in ways we have yet to see.

Pixel Buds Pro 2 review after 1 month | Google's Premium Earbuds

Google follows up the OG Pixel Buds Pro with version 2 and I must say that the Pro 2s are better in just about every way. The stand out feature to me really isn't a feature it's more about the fit. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 is 27% smaller and it shows. This helps with the fit and the wing tip is there to make sure things stay nice and snug. The rest of the package is very similar to the previous model just better. Check the video for my thoughts and see if the Pixel Buds Pro 2 may be a good fit for you. No pun intended.
